Produced by Hubei Changjiang People’s Art Theater, the drama Zhang Fuqing began its nationwide tour in Enshi Tujia and the Miao autonomous prefecture, Hubei province, on April 9.
It tells the touching story of Zhang Fuqing, a recipient of the Medal of the Republic and war veteran who earned the honorary title of "Combat Hero" twice in the Liberation War (1946-49) and chose to work in and devote his life to a poverty-stricken county in Hubei.
