Established in 1886, the Beijing Tongren Hospital Affiliated with Capital Medical University ("Tongren Hospital") is a large-scale Grade A Class III comprehensive hospital with national key disciplines in ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology. Tongren Hospital, which is composed of the Chongwenmen Hospital and the Yizhuang Hospital, has a staff team of more than 3,600. Overall, the hospital hosts 62 clinical departments and medical laboratories, offers 1,611 beds, and treats over 2.7 million outpatients on annual basis.
