The Today Art Museum in Beijing is showcasing about 100 Ukiyoe artworks (Japanese woodblock prints) by six acclaimed Japanese artists. The exhibition, running until May 6, presents aspects of Japanese society from the Edo Era (1603-1868) to the Meiji Era (1868-1912) and the unique customs of the city of Edo.
