Featuring the culture of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the new branch of Suzhou Museum (known as the 'western branch') is scheduled to open to the public in October.
Covering an exhibition area of 13,391 square meters and designed by GMP Architekten von Gerkan, the museum will showcase the city’s history, traditional Suzhou craftsmanship, and calligraphy and paintings by native artists.
