The National Museum of China in Beijing is interpreting ancient Chinese costume culture with nearly 130 relics and works of art, including jadeware, boneware, ceramics, apparel, gold and silver adornments and calligraphy and paintings. It displays the evolution of ancient Chinese costume and explains its deep social and cultural connotations.
What’s more, 15 lifelike figures of different eras also present the overall image of ancient Chinese attire and fully demonstrate the splendid achievements of the Chinese civilization of those periods. The exhibition will be open for a year.
