The State Council recently issued a circular, approving lists of the sixth batch of rare ancient books (752 items) and national protected sites (23 items).
According to the circular, local authorities and departments across the nation should step up efforts to preserve precious ancient books and make timely rescue, reasonable utilization, and strengthened management of these resources.
