Online events set for intl chorus festival, conference

The 15th China International Chorus Festival and International Federation for Choral Music World Choral Education Conference will be held from September to October this year.

Amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, the event will be held online, with performances staged by choruses from China and abroad, forums and a competition among the top 10 Chinese choruses.

The event will focus on poverty alleviation by inviting choruses from rural China and launching online training for rural music lovers.

Since 1992, the festival has been co-organized by the China Chorus Association and International Federation for Choral Music. So far, over 2,000 choruses from around the world have joined in the festival.
