NW China's Xinjiang establishes 1st BeiDou base station serving electricity industry

Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has built its first base station of the ground-based augmentation system for China-made BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), which will contribute to local electricity industry. The station will provide high-precision positioning, timing services and emergency communication.
