Residents of 336 households in Jingguan Housing Estate in Huimin district in Hohhot -- the capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region -- volunteered to perform novel coronavirus pneumonia prevention and control tasks, according to a Feb 13 report in the Hohhot Evening News.
The residents mainly undertook tasks including collecting information of people and vehicles entering the housing estate, as the estate has received more returnees from places outside Hohhot.
The residents work in shifts from 09:00-19:00 hrs on a daily basis, helping staff members of the housing estate issue entry-exit cards and registering people and vehicles.
