Jiangsu discharges last coronavirus patient

Jiangsu province of East China cured all its 631 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and discharged the last patient from the hospital on Sunday.

Among the cured patients, the oldest was 97 years old and the youngest 10 months. A pregnant patient in Suzhou was discharged from the hospital after giving birth to a healthy baby in February.

The province, which has more than 80 million permanent residents and a floating population of 20 million, has seen no new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection for 25 consecutive days.
