Shanghai Tower, China’s highest building, will reopen its "Top of Shanghai Observatory" tourist attraction starting on Thursday.

The observatory allows visitors to enjoy a 360-degree birds-eye view of the city's renowned buildings, natural beauties and sky.

Two other landmarks will also start receiving tourists from Thursday, including the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower and the Shanghai Jinmao Tower.

Tourists will be required to pre-book tickets with their identity certification online and arrive at the pre-booked time. Visitors should wear facial masks, take body temperatures and show a barcode indicating health status before entering the attractions.

Shanghai rolled out a guideline for the municipality's tourist attractions to combat the novel coronavirus epidemic, as businesses gradually resumed since March 7.

Shanghai Disney Resort partially resumed operations on March 9 with a limited number of shopping, dining and recreational experiences available in Disneytown, Wishing Star Park and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, while Shanghai Disneyland remained temporarily closed.
