Since the establishment of the Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND), the software and service outsourcing industry has been booming in the area.
At present, there are nearly 1,000 software and service outsourcing enterprises in WND, including 25 of world's Top 500 enterprises, and 26 of global service outsourcing Top 100 companies, such as Microsoft, Intel, Oracle, IBM, NTT data, Fujitsu, Pactera, ChinaSoft International and Unissoft.
In 2013, the output value of software and service outsourcing industry in WND reached 61 billion yuan ($9.8 billion).
