During the 18th International Comic Artist Conference held in Japan from Nov 29 to Dec 1, over a thousand pieces of comic works were exhibited.

Langfang city, about 50 kilometers southeast of Beijing, won the hosting rights in June and received the conference flag in Japan during the last conference. The city boasts a group of cartoonists and has a flourishing cultural industry, the publicity department said.
