National Peking Opera company teams up with Shanghai Theater Academy

China's National Peking Opera Company in Beijing signed an agreement with the Shanghai Theater Academy Saturday to cultivate more Peking Opera talent.
The cooperation will focus on strengthening joint training of talent, cooperation in creating new plays and promotion of the art form.
Peking Opera is listed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as intangible cultural heritage.
