100,000 people, 70 floats to parade on Oct 1

Around 100,000 people and 70 parade floats will march before Tian'anmen Square on China's 70th birthday to showcase the nation's socioeconomic accomplishments over the decades, Zhang Ge, the executive conductor of the event, said on Wednesday.
