Corn futures open higher

DALIAN, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- Corn futures opened higher Wednesday in daytime trading on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active corn contract for January delivery gained 3 yuan (about 42 U.S. cents) to open at 1,867 yuan per tonne.
