Martial arts competition held in Shanxi

Shanxi province, the host of the 2nd National Youth Games, won six gold medals in the martial arts event for young athletes from sports schools, which was held in Taiyuan between July 9 and 12. 

A total of 309 athletes divided into 55 teams from across China took part in the four-day competition that consisted of 18 events, including tai chi and swordplay. A total of 34 gold medals were given out.
