Since the BRI was first proposed, Zhejiang has delivered ten projects through a multilevel, wide-ranging and high-quality cooperation pattern with countries and regions involved in the BRI.
Total trade between Zhejiang and countries involved in the BRI surpassed $680 billion during the period 2013-2018, with investment from Zhejiang topping $28.6 billion.

These projects provided over 60,000 job openings in destination countries, through the launch of over 10 Zhejiang economic and trade cooperation zones abroad.
