Chinese herbaceous peonies are now in bloom at Nanshan Park in Horinger New Area, in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The Chinese peonies, pictured here on June 2, usually bloom before the Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar every year.
