A cultural and creative week gathering numerous artists from Fujian and Taiwan opened in Fuzhou on May 24.
A major part of the week, a bazaar exhibiting works by over 100 cultural and creative artists, including more than 80 from Taiwan, attracted plenty of visitors.
The event, slated to run until May 28, comes as local authorities deepen cooperation and exchanges in culture and tourism between Fujian and Taiwan.
On its sidelines, a flurry of seminars with prestigious experts and scholars is on tap, offering in-depth insights to the segment's growth.
Meanwhile, attendees from Taiwan will be invited to take on-site trips to some cultural projects in the city to enable them to get a full picture of the preferential policies Fujian has rolled out targeting Taiwan residents and gain first-hand knowledge concerning the cultural and creative industry development in the province.
