Baotou Airport sees surge in traffic

Baotou Airport saw rapid growth in traffic, with 22,524 people passing through the airport over the four-day holiday period from May 1 to 4. This is a year-on-year growth of 18 percent, according to Baotou Daily.

The airport operated 192 flights throughout the holiday period, representing a year-on-year growth of 10.3 percent.

The most popular destinations included Beijing, Shanghai, and Shijiazhuang (a city in Hebei province).
