The seventh Guizhou Professionals Convention was held in the capital city of Guiyang on April 27. The two-day convention attracted talents to provide intellectual support for the province's crucial fight against poverty.
More than 1,500 stands were set up at the convention's exhibition hall spanning a total area of 20,000 square meters. Talents in various fields, including poverty alleviation, big data, ecology, state-owned business, cultural tourism, and scientific education, were introduced to twelve designated areas to seek opportunities during the convention. A "green channel" was also opened to high-level talents and urgently-needed professionals.
For this convention, about 2,000 companies have offered up to 8,500 vacancies. Approximately 20,000 high level talents are needed by the province.
