Elevating the level of infrastructure construction

The rural areas in Dalian was completely renovated recently due to the improvement in village appearance, drinking water safety, sewage disposal and refuse treatment, toilet renovation, and the resource utilization of agricultural waste. A total of 550 kilometers of rural roads were also built. Moreover, 10 industrial characteristic towns will be built in three years.

In the urban area, continued progress was also made in the construction of infrastructure. The Hekou Bay Bridge and Suoyu Bay Road Bridge were completed and opened to traffic. With 100 urban roads repaired, the construction of Metro line 5 and the Dalian Bay Undersea Tunnel were pushed forward together.
