Ningbo natives honored as reform pioneers

Shi Jiuyong, born in October 1926, is a former legal consultant of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former director of the International Court of Justice of the United Nations. He has contributed a lot to the maintenance of national sovereignty, security and development, as well as to international justice. He designed a series of legal systems conducive to the return of Hong Kong to China. His work for the International Court of Justice has earned him universal praise from the international community.
