Du'an-Bama Expressway has achieved outstanding results during construction in the third quarter of this year, according to a recent report released by Hechi government.
Investment in Du'an-Bama Expressway construction reached 1.8 billion yuan ($260 million) by the end of September, accounting for 69 percent of the total work. The project department gave greater emphasis to high-quality construction and making sure it can be completed on time.
The Du'an-Bama Expressway is proceeding smoothly with about 50 percent of the roadbed construction and 94 percent of the tunnels completed. Other parts of the construction are in full swing, including the Hongshui River Bridge, where the pile foundations have been set up.
