Hechi celebrates first farmers' festival

Hechi city of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region celebrated the first Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, or the 2018 Hechi Autumn/Winter Tourism Promotion Conference in Baping village in Nandan county on Sept 23 and 24.

Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, is set to welcome the harvest season and honor agricultural workers. Hechi city organized various activities to pay tribute to the farmers, including rice paddy art show, catching fish and ducks in the paddy fields, as well as local specialty sales and tasting special cuisine.
