Sanhesimei are well-known traditional Yangzhou pickle brands. They use ingredients like cucumber, Chinese artichoke and lettuce, and taste salty. Yangzhou pickle enjoys a long history dating back to the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). It won the International Expo Medal in 1911. The food is refreshing, sweet, crisp and tender and retains the original tastes of the vegetables, without any additives. It’s low in salt and sugar and contains rich nutrients.
