The first games of Hondlon district’s soccer championship for teenage girls began on July 16, attracting participation of some 200 female students from schools across the district, reports Baotou Evening News.
The four-day championship, co-hosted by the education bureau and the culture, sports, radio, television and tourism bureau of Hondlon district, involves two groups –– the U12 Group and U15 Group, each fielding eight-player teams.
There are eight teams in the U12 Group and four teams in the U15 Group.
