An exhibition focusing on Xiamen's development is set to open at the city's Art Museum on June 29 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up.
About 300 works by local artists are to be included in the exhibition, including works of calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, oil and lacquer painting, sculpture and paper-cutting – all depicting 40 years of the coastal city's development.
The exhibition was organized by Fujian Provincial Committee and Xiamen Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
