QINGDAO -- Forty-nine Virtual Reality (VR) movies from home and abroad are being shown in East China's Qingdao as the 2018 Qingdao International VR Image Week opened Saturday.
In the VR theatre, the seat can rotate 360 degrees so that everyone can see the image in all directions, according to Che Lin, the curator of the VR image week.
"Vertical VR and VR devices will immerse the audience in the story . They can also play roles in the story," said Che.
The jury will select five award winners. Paramount Pictures futurist Ted Schilowitz is jury chairman.
