Yantai chef Mi Guohong improved the traditional home-style pancake and added a few chopped scallion pieces. The delicious re-imagined pancake has proved popular with guests. In 2005, it was dubbed a "Yantai famous snack" by the Yantai Tourism Bureau and the Yantai Cooking Association.
