Covering an area of more than 300 mu (20 hectares), Longwan Spring is located two kilometers south of White River. Its history dates back to the Han Dynasty (AD 202-220), when Liu Xiu, an Eastern Han Dynasty emperor, used the place to reward retired officials for their contributions in the founding of the empire. Containing various minerals, the spring is said to be good for the body.
