China Continent Property & Casualty Insurance Co (CCIC) was set up in Shanghai on Oct 15, 2003. CCIC is a national property and casualty insurance company that is officially approved by the State Council and China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC). It belongs to China Reinsurance (Group) Corporation and it is the only subsidiary that specialized in non-life primary insurance.
