
Roasted meat is a well-known delicacy of Guangdong province, and Shenzhen's Gongming baked goose is an outstanding example. Locally bred geese are baked with moderate heat until their skin is golden brown and tastes crispy but the meat remains tender.
Gongming baked goose has been known in overseas countries since 1939. It has attracted many merchants around the world and was noted as a famous brand product in the National economic material exchange fair in 1952.
