Yangzhou Jadeware

Yangzhou is one of the most famous areas in China for jade production. Its jade carving reached the peak of development in the Tang (618-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties. Yangzhou jade products are made from several different types of jades, the two main ones being nephrite and jadeite. They are known for their delicate, graceful, elegant and exquisite style.
