Hohhot Xincheng District Manchu Kindergarten was originally built in the 1950s. Founded as Xincheng District No 7 Kindergarten, the school was first renamed Xincheng District No 3 Kindergarten and then, in 1985, Xincheng District Manchu Kindergarten. It is the sole kindergarten in Hohhot and Inner Mongolia for the Manchu ethnic group.
