Construction on the Luanxi and Zhounan highways got underway in 2016, while that of Rufangzao, Xixia-Shiyan, Tongbai-Dengzhou, Nanyang-Qushou highways will commence within two years. When they come into service in 2020, Nanyang will have 1,274 km of highways in the city.
