Shanghai to welcome cherry blossom gala

The 2018 Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival, the city's largest cherry blossom gala, will take place at the Gucun Park in Baoshan district from March 16 to April 15.

The park now has more than 12,000 cherry blossom trees of 82 varieties, the largest number in Shanghai.

Apart from beautiful cherry blossoms, visitors can also enjoy a variety of entertaining activities including a fashion show, a feast of local delicacies, an opera performance, and many others.
