
Laoniuwan Geopark [Photo/VCG]
Laoniuwan Geopark in Qingshuihe county of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, covers a total area of 25.34 square kilometers. Located in the junction of Inner Mongolia and Shanxi Province, it is the place where China's two greatest symbols – the Great Wall and the Yellow River - meet.
It was opened to the public on July 16, 2013. In 2016, it was selected as a national-level 4A scenic spot.
