Dubbed as the "pearl in Danjiang River", the Meditation Valley is located in Cangfang town, Xichuan county, at the west bank of Danjiang Reservoir. Its name comes from Huizhong, an eminent monk during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907), who would often take his disciples to meditate there.
Opening hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with tickets priced at 45 yuan ($6.7) per person.
