The Hohhot Hongsheng Industrial Park (呼和浩特鸿盛工业园区) was approved by the city government in January 2001. And in March 2009 it was named by the autonomous region as a National Experimental Base of Information Technology and Industrialization Integration and Innovation in the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos Region.
