Minister of Justice visits Mongolia

A delegation led by Zhang Jun, China’s minister of justice, visited Mongolia from Nov 6 to 8 at the invitation of Tsendiin Nyamdorj, minister of justice and internal affairs of Mongolia.

During the visit, Zhang Jun met with Nyamdorj as well as Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, prime minister of Mongolia.

He introduced China’s 19th CPC National Congress and achievements in China’s economic and social development as well as legal construction.

The two sides reached consensus on strengthening exchanges and cooperation especially in deepening judicial administration reform.

Zhang said that as the Chinese saying goes, a good neighbor is better than a brother far away, illustrating that China always adheres to the foreign policy of building good relationships and partnerships with countries nearby.

The Sino-Mongolian comprehensive strategic partnership is developing smoothly. The relationship should be planned according to the new requirements of the era especially strengthened judicial exchanges and services and guarantees for economic activity and personnel exchanges.

In the meeting with Nyamdorj, Zhang also outlined China’s judicial administration reform saying that the reform should be based on building a public legal service system and helping people acquire a sense of gain, happiness and security.

Zhang said that the reform will be speeded up to provide timely and accurate legal services to benefit the people.

Khürelsükh and Nyamdorj expressed warm congratulations on the successful 19th CPC National Congress and praised China’s achievements in economic and social growth and legal construction.

They agreed with Zhang on strengthening judicial exchanges and cooperation between the two countries and said that they are willing to cooperate in a comprehensive strategic partnership.
