Badminton championship concludes in Baotou

A badminton championship targeting amateurs in Baotou city came to a close recently at Baotou Light Industry Vocational Technical College, Baotou Daily reported on Nov 7.

Hosted by the sports bureau of Baotou, the five-month championship attracted more than 2,000 badminton fans from across the city, with more than 200 making it to the final.

He Chunlei, a top official from Baotou Badminton Association, claimed that badminton is gaining popularity in the city with more residents willing to have a try.
