Acrobatic Troupe of Anhui province

The Acrobatic Troupe of Anhui province was founded in December 1956. The troupe has been active both on domestic and foreign stages ever since.

The troupe's "Girls on the Stacked Chairs" won a Golden Prize at the First Future Acrobatic Contest in Paris, a silver prize at the Second National New Seedling Cup Acrobatic Contest and a silver prize at the Fourth Wuqiao International Acrobatic Art Festival. "Riding High on the Platform won the First Silver Prize in the Tenth Paris Tomorrow Acrobatic Contest. "Jumping the Board won a Golden Prize at the First Wuqiao International Acrobatic Art Festival and a Golden Prize at the Second National New Seedling Cup Acrobatic Contest. "Exchanging Bowls on the Head won a bronze prize at the second Wuqiao International Acrobatic Art Festival and a silver prize at the second National New Seedling Cup Acrobatic Contest. "Two-person performance on the Chairs won a Silver Prize at the first Wuqiao International Acrobatic Art Festival. "Group Stunt on Pole-climbing won a silver prize at the fourth National Aerobatic Contest. "Rolling Candle-filled Cup won a Silver prize at the third National Children's Acrobatic Contest. "Towers on the Swinging Board won a bronze prize at the second National New Seedling Cup Acrobatic Contest.

Over the past 40 years, the troupe has visited over 50 foreign countries including Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Britain, Italy, the United States, Sweden, France, and other countries or regions in South Asia and Africa and has won reputation for China.

The Troupe's excellent artists include Ye Tongsheng, Yang Enqing, He Lianhua and Zhang Jun and other winners in many acrobatic contests.
