Lotus splendor awaits the visitors

There's nowhere better than Wuxi's Yuantouzhu (Turtle Head Isle) to appreciate lotus flowers in the summer.

The area launched its annual lotus festival this month, which runs till August. Visitors will not only be able to admire blooming lotus flowers, but also participate in various activities, including picking lotus seedpods, tasting tea while cruising around the lake, and listening to popular folk music.
