Baotou to open new swimming facilities

Work on new professional swimming facilities in Qingshan District, Baotou city, is expected to be completed by the end of July, according to local media.

The new swimming facilities will be classed as a national A-class sports venue upon completion and will host national and international events.

Situated in Baotou Olympic Park, the sports facilities will cover an area of 36,626 square meters and offer 1,619 seats for spectators. It will be equipped with a 10-lane swimming pool, a 1,520-sq m wading pool and supporting sports facilities.
