Students from Qingshan district toured the Dongdashan Arts District in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and learned about traditional folk culture, especially the handicraft arts listed as part of Chinese intangible cultural heritage on Feb 20.
Located in Qingshan district, Dongdashan Arts District features folk arts and boasts themed experience zones. Five folk artists –– Wang Hongchuan, Liu Zhanqiang, Wang Haiyan, Guo Qipeng and Li Yongjun –– have settled in the district and exchanged their views and techniques on arts and handicrafts.
