At the end of Eighteen Twists, the South Heavenly Gate stands loftily.
The gate is also named "Third Heavenly Gate", which is 1460 meters above sea level. It was built by Zhang Zhichun, abbot of Dai Temple, in 1264.
The gate is an attic-like construction with an archway on top of which is a skyscraper while on both sides of which carved couplets.
