What stories do cloud motifs tell? An exhibition at the Nanjing Museum in Jiangsu province will present exquisite lacquer and wooden objects from ancient Guangling (present-day Yangzhou), celebrated for their cloud motifs, mythical creatures and masterful craftsmanship. Through six themed sections, the exhibition reveals how these remarkable objects accompanied every stage of life in the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220).
