"Hello! I'm suanni, the fifth son of the dragon. I look like a lion, and I love sitting and enjoying incense. So what am I really? An incense burner!"

Dating to the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), this green-glazed incense burner releases wisps of fragrant smoke from the beast's mouth when the incense inside is lit — bringing to life the elegant and romantic Song-era living. Collection: Anhui Museum.
